Elli Sekine is a native of Japan living in the U.S. since 1996. She is an experienced writer, photographer, and coordinator specializing in food - and travel-related topics, and currently writes a monthly restaurant review column for Sushi and Sake magazine (a bilingual food magazine in the U.S.), and writes and coordinates for "Globe Trotter", the most popular travel guidebook in Japan. She also writes a U.S. food report Cuisine Kingdom, a Japanese specialty food magazine. Elli also was a representative and editor for the Northern California edition of Bridge U.S.A. magazine from 2000 to 2005. With a background in acting in Japan, Ms. Sekine occasionally does voice acting in Japanese and English for commercial and corporate videos. She also is available as an interpreter.
